Welcome to SR Analyzer.com. Weatherford Laboratories Instruments design engineers have worked all over the world on the development and repair of pyrolysis instruments for over 20 years. In 2002 we set out to design a new and better pyrolysis instrument. With our wealth of experience to draw on, we now produce analytical instruments that excel in precision, output and reliability.

SRA

The SRA can be configured in a variety of ways to meet the needs of the customer. For example, the basic SRA unit (i.e. the SRA-TPH) provides S1, S2, Tmax, and Tmin. The SRA-TPH/S3 unit also provides S3 while the SRA-TPH/TOC unit provides S3 and TOC as well. Additional configurations include the SRA-Kinetics, the SRA POPI, and the SRA-TEPI.

SRA-POPI™: This SRA configuration is an instrument software configuration developed by Weatherford Laboratories Instruments and Saudi Aramco to make well-site, or near well-site, predictions regarding fluid properties such as API gravity, viscosity, apparent water saturation and bulk composition (i.e. black oil, or tar, condensate) from cuttings, sidewall cores (SWCs), or conventional core samples.

SRA-Kinetics™: When evaluating a play or prospect using basin modeling, the conversion of kerogen into gas and petroleum is dependent on the composition of the kerogen.

SRA-TEPI™: This instrument configuration entails an SRA connected to a Gas Chromatograph (GC). Thus, the SRA is used to volatilize the hydrocarbons from a reservoir or source rock.

SRA-TPH/TOC™: The SR Analyzer TPH/TOC performs automated analysis of source rocks and reservoir rocks to evaluate organic richness, kerogen quality, thermal maturity, and organic facies. The instrument generates S1, S2, S3, Tmax, and Total Organic Carbon (TOC) data.

Four Primary Applications

1 - Source Rock Characterization
  Organic carbon content
Oil content
Remaining hydrocarbon generation potential
Thermal maturity

2 - Reservoir Rock Characterization
  Oil yields
Viscosity and API predication
Tar, bitumen, pyrobitumen content
Pay zone identification

3 - Site Remediation Studies
  Total petroleum hydrocarbons (TPH)
Total organic Carbon (TOC)

4 - Bulk Kinetic Parameters
  Single run screening kinetics
Multiple heating rate kinetics
Isothermal kinetics
